So I am going to have a mole on my face removed by a laser next week. I'm pretty nervous because I don't know what they are going to do. What do they do when they remove a mole by a laser. Serious answers only. Thanks =D!
Laser mole removal?? I know it should be in skin conditions but know one was answering me.. please help me!?
Hey! Its okay! It depends on what kinda of method they use..but most likely they are just going to insert some pain killers, remove the mole, and then cauterize it which is basically using heat to close the veins so that it will quit bleeding. Some surgeons may use stitches but I dont think they will do it on you especially since its facial. I know it can be a little freaky, but hang in there it will all be okay. Especially after your unwanted mole is gone, right?

Reply:They freeze the area and cut it off with the laser. Ussually pretty quick and pretty painless. It will be red and swollen for a little while but there will be minimal scaring.
