Skin cyst?

what is a skin cyst?i thought the thing i had my back was a mole.i noticed it at the end of my last pregnancy.which was a lil over 2 yrs ago.it hurts if i itch it.its round pinkish or purplish and smooth like normal skin.it hasnt grown any but what could it be?ive looked up pics of all different moles on the pc and it doesnt resemble any of them.

it's probably a skin tag. you get them a lot when u r pregnant. I got one on my underarm and kept knicking it when shaving so my dr cut it off..didn't really hurt..hurt less than getting a shot. Ask your dr to remove it if it gets caught on clothes or whatever.
Reply:I think I have one on my hip... does it feel like a little bee-bee under the skin? Can't pop it and it's really hard? If so, it is a cyst. Go to your doc and ask him to be sure.
