I don't know if this is just me, but it seems like when I tan and stay tan that my skin stays conditioned to it and doesn't freckle or mole as much, if at all.
BUT, when I tan for a few weeks and then get dark, and then go pale, and then do it again, and repeat due to laziness.. that this method is more likely to cause more tiny moles/freckles.
Can anyone elaborate on this? It seems like if you keep your skin conditioned and used to the rays and color that it can absorb better and avoids freckling easier.. but I thought it was healthier and better for your skin to not tan so naturally the less you do it the less freckles, right? so why would going pale, tanning, going pale, repeat, be worse? Does the latter method cause more strain having to change it's color so often?
Tanning - Is it better on skin/freckling to stay tan or to tan/stop, tan/stop every 3 months?
Stay out of the tanning beds and the sun because of skin cancer. I know young people don't worry about those kinds of things but as they get older and after years of sun %26amp; tanning bed use they can develop melanoma. A friend of mine had a skin cancer on her leg and she had a big chunk of her leg cut out. Not a pretty sight.
Reply:There has never been a case of skin cancer proven to being linked to tanning beds. As a matter of fact some top scientists and doctors are recommending indoor tanning. Always use a good tanning lotion.
