How to get rid of moles on neck.?

My doctor says the moles on my neck are really what is called skin tags. Just extra flesh with a little blood in them. My insurance won't pay to have them removed and she says I can tie a string on them and in a few days they should fall off. I am trying that now but I wonder if anyone eles has done this or is there something eles to do. How can I keep them from growing. I have about 15 little tiny ones now that I don't won't to let get as big as this one. Your thoughts

Unfortunately you cannot do anything to avoid getting them.

They are much more common with age beginning in middle age and they tend to be somewhat more prevalent in women than men.

In cases in which a skin tag is irritated or cosmetically unwanted, treatment may be done by freezing the tag with liquid nitrogen, tying off the tag with a thread or suture so as to cut off the blood supply, or cutting off (excising) the tag with a scalpel or scissors. There is a minute blood vessel withing these tags so cutting them off will cause bleeding.

I use to work in a doctors office where he would snip them off with a scissors and cauterize them or use a silver nitrate stick on them after removing to stop the bleeding. Some doctors inject lidocaine first to help with the pain but the snip isn't much worse than the injection.
Reply:burn them off with wart remover
Reply:the freeze type wart remover sold over the counter will remove them...you can also touch them with dry ice tiol they shrivel..they arent moles..moles are dark brown
