Skin tag like on boyfriend scrotum?

about 9 months ago, we noticed a brown mole, over time its gotten bigger, now looks like a skin tag, but its on the lower part of his scrotum...I called and made an appt for std for the two of us..


but can it something else?


we have been together for 2 years, and I had my last std check last year everything came back fine...


He has nothing else. and says it doesn't bug him..


help!

If it's just a skin tag, then it can be removed. No big deal. If it was an STD, then he would have other marks of concern or discharge or something.

If it's a skin tag, then there isn't likely anything to be worried about.
Reply:Better safe then sorry; so both of you going to get tested is a great idea. If your test results came back fine and he hasn't cheated on you things should be fine. But wouldn't you rather know what it is for sure? I would.
Reply:Probably just a skin tag (acrochordon). But, your boyfriend should get regular diabetes checks as skin tags are more common in people with impaired glucose.

Reply:A mole that grows or changes colour or shape can be diagnosed as a malignant melanoma. Basically it could be skin cancer. IT is worth getting checked by a dermatologist immediately just to be safe.
Reply:well.. make him really cold then look at it. Theres lots of skin there so it may just look like its getting bigger when really his skin is just all saggy. Whatever it is though, dont worry. You both will be fine.
