that looks like a red freckle or mole? For as long as I can remember, I have had a few tiny bright red spots that look like freckles/moles on some parts of my skin, like a few on my legs and a few on my chest. They don't itch or change size or anything like that..and they are tiny, like the head of a pin...what could they be?
Have you ever seen anything on your skin?
I know exactly what you mean. I have a couple under my left eye and a couple on my torso. I noticed that my mom has a few too. They're not mole-like, much more like freckles. They don't cause any problems so I wouldn't be too concerned.
Reply:they may be a form of a tumor. It could just be a growth also. I would recommend getting it checked up on though just to be safe. Do you often tan?
Reply:it might be itches
Reply:I've seen them, and have some, but dont know the english name for it... In spanish we call them "cabeza de vena" which means literally 'veins heads'... May have a nicer name in english...
After goind to a dermatologist, he said no danger, same cares as if it was a mole... They remove them with laser, in case they are located in 'friction' places like the palm of the hand or foot.
Reply:I have had one on my hand forver and I have always wondered what it was, it looks like someone took a red pen and just put a dot there. Hope we get an answer.
