How long does it take to find out if a mole is skin cancer from the time a biopsy is done?

It feels like forever. But a few days -I believe it took close to four days or a week for my results. Up to 10 days but I am sure you will hear as soon as the lab calls the office. Just let them know you are anxious for the results.

Reply:The doc told me to call back in 2 weeks. However, it took an additional three days to return my call. Luckily, it was nothing. I think they call you straight on if it's something. Some docs have easier access to labs than others, which will determine the speed of your results. I'd say about a week or two.
