i have what started out as looking like a blood blister on my ankle 3 years ago has grown and got darker and is slightly raised.what could it be?i just read an article on a woman who found mole on ankle and it turned out to be skin cancer.what do you think?
I have a very dark mole on my ankle, have just read article on skin cancer?????
I got a mole removed from my back last week, it was quite easily done. Getting 5 stitches out tomorrow. I suggest you just go to the quack and they will have a look, if it's cut out before it goes cancerous there will be no need to worry. If it is cancerous, then the sooner its tackled the better. :-)
Reply:It could be , or it could just be a mole. Get it checked out if you're worried and you can get it removed easily.
Reply:Is it itchy, changing size, does it have a surrounding lighter colour round it??
They are more obvious signs. but if its been there that long I wouldnt worry....but as you are, get some advice from a GP.
Reply:Get it checked out by a doctor especially if it has grown or changed shape. It may be melanoma but most likely it is something dermatological. Put your mind at ease and get it checked out, and if, god forbid, it is melanoma the sooner you catch it the quicker it can be treated. Best wishes
Reply:We can't conclude that it's a skin cancer, until you visit a Dermatologist, who could help you determine if it's cancerous or benign. For now, don't worry about it. Make an urgent appointment with the Dermatologist and wait for the results. Worrying doesn't help,so be patient and wait for his decision.Hope, this will help you out.
Reply:It doesn't sound malignant or anything, if it starts to change form, anything else then round, then let it get checked. When you're not sure, always go to a doctor. Just in case, even if it is just to reassure you self. A doctor can explain what you need to be on the lookout for.
Reply:hi i had amole removed in Feb this year it had changed in size and bled but it was fine so go get it checked I'm sure you will be OK good luck
