Checking for skin cancer?

I have three normal sized moles on my breasts. But they all have tiny pin-prick sized dots on them. The dots are black and there are about 3-5 on each mole. Is this a sign of skin cancer? Or am I being paraniod?

Checking for skin cancer?
Dermatology is obviously a visual specialty so you would have to see a doc. to have him/her look at them. Black dots are not necessarily a sign of skin cancer, it could be a sign of a lesion changing, which means it is not normal and it's not abnormal but it's somewhere in between so excising the lesion would be a good thing so you don't have to worry about it down the road. There are also lesions that we get that have darker areas in them and that's just the way they are. It's a good idea to have a mole check done once a year and then you should have no worries. Happy Holidays
Reply:Check it out with a doctor. He or she can tell you definitively whether it's cancer or not.
Reply:yea, definately see a doctor.
Reply:See a doctor and while your there have him or her do a skin cancer map this is when they document all your moles where they are and the size so it's easier to know when they have changed. Better safe than sorry.
