I have been reading about skin cancer and how if you have moles that change shape that it could possibly be skin cancer but what if you develop a spot out of nowhere,I had been living over seas for the past two years in Guam where the Uv rays are much higher, I noticed not too long after returning to the states a dark brown spot on my right arm that is darker brown in the middle and does have irregular edges,I am worried after seeing an article in a magazine that showed different stages of skin cancer and mine closely resembled the one that was listed under possibly precancerous,Any advice, info. Thanks
Serious skin cancer question?!?
If your in doubt about it go to your GP who can refer you to a specialist, I can say though if it has hair/s growing in them they don't go cancerous,I had one that was itchy and the dermatologist told me that snippet of info.
Reply:contact your dr asap, they will probably remove it, not a big deal a stitch or two and you are done, the only real way to tell is to have it biopsied. Don't wait, see your dr now, as time can make a big difference.
