Skin cancer signs?

can someone tell me some of the early signs of skin cancer?? can you include some that don't involve moles?

Skin cancer signs?
A sore that won't heal is a sign, but that can be caused by other things as well. I am guessing you already know about the moles. Precancerous areas sometimes appear as red patchy spots.
