Skin cancer?

I have to moles on me that look like they could be skin cancer I have done research and thats what it looks like. I dont have insurance so i was wondering even if it is skin cancer will i be ok or is it something that really needs to be looked at.

Skin cancer?
go to a dermatologist they can take a biopsy and let you know for sure- do this as soon as possible- the quicker the better = if it is in the beginning stages they can just remove it in the office and that may be just it - so check it soon PLEASE
Reply:you need to have it checked out. skin cancer can kill you.
Reply:it need to be checked out you can die from skin cancer..
Reply:Moles are not often skin cancers. They must be changing in size, appearance and color in order for them to be suspicious of a skin cancer. Often times, they become irritated for no reason and start bleeding too. If any of these are occurring with your mole, then yes, they need to be examined soon. If these moles have been there for a long time and have not changed, your risk is low. If they are new and are changing as described above, then they need to be examined. You can call your family doctor, talk with the billing office and ask if you can set up some payments to cover your office visit (do this before the visit) and then get in and see him/her. They can do a biopsy right in the office to see if any additional testing might be necessary. In certain types of cancer (melanomas), any delay allows this cancer to spread and can be fatal. Basal cell and squamous cell cancers are slower growing and can be watched for a period of time before removal but if you can get them evaluated now, it would be best.
Reply:Please, please, please get those moles checked out. I just lost my husband to melanoma after a year of fighting this nasty cancer. This is not something to put off!
