Does tying a knot around a skin tag (hanging mole) actually make it die and fall off?

If it does how long does it take? what exactly happens does it change colors and shrink like a raisin?

Yes, it will work. It should die off in a day or two at most. If they are small, you can even try pinching them off with your thumb nail.
Reply:I have heard to take a cotton ball with some apple cider vinegar and put it on with a bandaid, it will eventually fall off.
Reply:With an avatar like the one you have, get out some nail clippers like I do and clip it off!

BE A MAN!!!!
Reply:i've done it and yes it worked, it turns black like a dried scab and just fell off it worked overnight and they never came back!
Reply:If it's not too large to be dangerous, numb it with ice and cut it off with sharp, CLEAN sissors. Next light a match, let it burn for a few seconds and blow it out. Quickly touch the head of the match to the area where you cut off the skin tag. It hurts for a few seconds but It should not come back again.

Reply:Well my aunt's a nurse, and when my grandma had one, she just cut it off with scissors. Think about it, the skin is dead so you're not going to feel a thing.
Reply:YES IT DOES WORK
