Ever have a mole removed from your skin by a Dermatologist?

I had it done yesterday! Now I gotta wait until Monday for the results!

Ever have a mole removed from your skin by a Dermatologist?
Yes I have and it leaves a little round white mark. You will be OK try not to think about it. Waiting on test results are never fun.
Reply:It should turn out fine. So don't stress about it.

Thank You!

Reply:Never had that done sorry.
Reply:no but I have one on my leg that could be removed
Reply:I did one myself 2 weeks ago, no problem.
Reply:I had one frozen and then cut off.
Reply:yes, most are harmless but they took 3 outta me just to make sure. it came back ok. im sure you will be ok
Reply:yes. was painful but not malignant.
Reply:no
Reply:not yet but hope all is cool
Reply:yes i went in had three removed one negative

one suspicious under micorscope still dont know what that means

one cancer but the kind that doesnt spread anywhere else

i had to go back for them to make sure they got it all

no big deal at all

waiting is the worst part
Reply:yes on the top left of my head
Reply:yes.... just keep the area covered or you will have a scar there.. don't worry about the results just dont think about it until you get them.
Reply:Yes, I had that done just a few weeks ago...keep it covered with a bandage and the ointment, it will heal better. Mine was determined to be a pre cancerous thingymajig, which means it was nothing except for a way for him to charge me again in 6 months....
Reply:yes, he makes the nurses numb the area with shots then he does the cutting.

that makes him look like the good guy and the nurse the unsensitive one
Reply:nope i sure havent casue than thay want to study it and see if its malignant or if its cancer and stuff like that and if i ever got cancer i would leave it alone and let god take it away. cause i belive he will do that for me
Reply:Nope. I never though aot doing that before though.
Reply:Never had one.
Reply:nope but I have one (and only one) that I would like to have removed but I hear it leaves a scar so I think its better to have a little mole than a little scar....let me know how it turns out and maybe I will get mine sliced off
Reply:Oohhh, I hate that - waiting for test results is the worst! Fortunately, those skin things are usually nothing...and even when they do turn out to be the big C-A they are almost always the more slow-growing very curable, easily treatable variety. In the meantime, try to keep busy and distract yourself from thinking about it so you don't drive yourself nuts. More than likely, you are going to be just fine. Good luck : )
Reply:yes, and if they thought it just might be bad, they sorta let you know in advance, telling you about treatments and other names of oncology Dr. Wish you the best, don't dwell on the negative till monday
Reply:I haven't, but I hope you receive favorable results. Usually they are harmless, but it is good to have some of them checked, especially if they have changed recently.
