Hi, I had a mole on my face, doctor removed it by some electrical device but now a brownish skin ramains?

The brownish skin ramains at the place of the mole. Is this ok and will it go away with time?. Does any one else had this experience?

I would give it some time to heal, if not or it doesnt go away, call the DR back,,,Good luck to you!
Reply:Sounds like they cut the mole off and then cauterized the wound it left behind. All that would have done is burn the skin to seal it up. The brown will go away in about a week or so.
Reply:My dermatologist told me this:

skins are made of layers, and inside moles, are brown pigments. Your doctor probably lasered the majority off, but not all of them / deep enough.

You should wait a while longer and see, but if you can always go back to your doctor and ask.

Forgot to mention:

Moles are like icebergs - even if you remove the top layer, you won't be able to laser it off the last of it...
Reply:Michael Jackson used to be a little black boy, but he got a white spot an his face. It spread all over him and now he's white. Same thing could happen to you, Tony, or should I call you brutha?
