Bad moles?

Ok I have moles, but they dont really raise off my skin too much. Some of them, I swear I have had since I was little and I'm not sure when I got them. Like one on my forhead and another on my cheek. I have a TON of beauty marks in random places and I keep getting them even when parts of my body (like my bum) arent exposed to the sun. The ones that I have been getting a lot lately are not raised they are just teeny freckles. I kind of like them but if they could be cancerous, I'd like to get them checked out.

A small congenital growth on the human skin, usually slightly raised and dark and sometimes hairy, especially a pigmented nevus.





i work for a dermatologist i am no expert though. if your mole has changed colors, has grown, or has irregular borders, itches, bleeds, see a doctor. i to have little i call them beauty marks that appear more as i get older. if you are nervous or unsure most insurances allow for a total skin exam yearly. during your appointment you will be looked over thoroughly and then you can question what to look for during your routine home exam. they should be able to provide you with literature and pictures to help. there was a patient who had a skin cancer in his bum crack so if in doubt it wouldn't hurt.
