Healing skin?

A few weeks ago, i tried the product mole vanish on my flat mole, which basically burned my skin and it made a little hole (but it did get rid of the mole). I used neosporin on it and right now it looks like the skin healed back but now it's a noticable pink color while im tanned. My question is is this normal? its been around three weeks. My skin didn't scab but it did bleed.

Healing skin?
the pink color is normal of fresh skin cells until they mature. Vitamin E oil works really well to speed up healing and reduce scarring. I wouldn't put any self-tanners or other non-healing products on it, this will slow down the healing process, and the growth of new skin cells. Be patient the cell growth process does take time, I've seen the use of vit. E oil work very well many times.
Reply:It sounds as though you have an open wound so the worst think you wanna do is sit in the sun without covering it. It will end up scarring, and could even get infected. Keep putting medicine on it and if it hasn't gotten better in a week or so, go have your doctor check it out. Good luck.
Reply:The sun wasn't the best idea for this new healing skin.

I'd continue to keep it very clean and apply neosporin and some pure vitamin e - if the area does not look better or appears worse in a few days do call your MD -

You can also clean it with peroxide to keep the bacteria at bay but be cautious a staph infection could happen -
Reply:That fresh new skin pink is normal.

Definitely use sunscreen when out in the sun. You may want to take instant tanner on a Q-tip and tan your new skin.

I didn't know there was a product to remove moles. It's cool to know it works!
