Can Freeze Away wart remover be used to remove moles?

I have a number of moles that I'd like to get removed, but my insurance won't cover it unless skin cancer is suspected, so my husband suggested Freeze Away.

Can Freeze Away wart remover be used to remove moles?
Probably not, as moles usually have deep roots, depending on the type. I had a mole removed once and the doctor had to remove alot of the flesh under the mole as well. It would depend alot on what type of mole it is, and where it is located.
Reply:Not smart to irritate moles unless you just enjoy skin cancer. Save the bucks and see your dermatologist.
Reply:ultimately a wart is dead skin, so when you use a product like freeze away it doesn't hurt if its only applied to the wart cause there is no nerve endings there - but if that product touches any skin around the wart it can be painful cause its getting to the live skin.

I don't think that moles are dead skin, and if they have any nerve endings in them than it would really hurt to use a product like Freeze Away without deadening the area 1st. I would see what the cost of getting the moles removed is first, cause having them removed professionally would be much safer.
Reply:they sell home kits for moles let me see if I can remember the one I used...

it worked Amazing though! it was like $100 and it was like acid based I think...

it left a little black spot where the mole was (i just put a bandaid over it while i was at work) then after a couple weeks the mole fell off and the wound was all healed!
Reply:Noooo! If it went wrong you might get skin cancer or it might make the mole fall off and you'd have a scabby hole in your face!!
Reply:your question is newer mind,,ok
Reply:no you cant my partner had to go to the doctor to have them treated.
Reply:not a good idea i have a couple moles myself and it is much safer to go to a dermatolgist and have them lazer them off its cheap and you won't feel it if you use freeze away there could be serious side effects Good Luck!
Reply:No, if it was they would advertise it as wart and mole removal. You need to be very careful with moval removal since some can be cancer. That is not something I would play around with. If you want a mole removed, see your doctor. I did not have insurance the last time and I set up a payment plan at my derm. office. See if that is an option for you!
