i am pettrified of needles and definetly dont want stiches does getting a mole remove revolve stiches hellp pleaz!!!
When you get ur mole removed will they stich your skin back up !!!!!!!?
Generally yes. Although they can also use liquid nitrogen to "burn" the mole off, or if the mole is surface, perhaps scraping (like the one I had done). Speak to your GP and find out if it's really necessary to have it removed, and which method would be most efective. Remember, it's your body and no one can make you do anything you don't want to, but if there's a risk, then hold your breath and do what needs to be done. Above all, tell your doctor your concerns, and if you're wary, get a second opinion.
Reply:I have had several moles removed and had stitches each time. It really isn't too bad except for the initial shot to numb the area. Just keep your eyes closed and don't open them until they are done. Tell your doctor ahead of time that you have a problem with needles and they will probably have something to calm you. It is important to have moles checked because of the possibility of cancer so...don't chicken out, grit your teeth and go through with it. Once it is all done you will feel much better about it. Good luck!
