Moles and salicylic acid.?

if you have a near-flat mole on you, and you use salicylic acid on it, will it get rid of it? if salicylic acid burns away skin shouldn't it work for a mole, especially if it's almost flat?

n please i know you can go to a dermatologist and things, im not asking that, i just want to know if this would be effective or not.

Moles and salicylic acid.?
Moles are aggregations of melanin or melanocytes in the dermis which is below the visible skin area.

Large growths are removed by surgery while smaller ones are electrocauterised or burned off with lasers.

However, flat moles generally are deeper in the skin and may not be affected by removing the top layer. In this case it will have to be frozen and cut or a noninvasive cosmetic method seems to be high intensity light pulses to destroy melanin producing cells (also kills hair follicles)

Burning the top off your skin MAY work.. but it may also just leave you with a painful scar.
Reply:it will not get rid of a mole.
